You have your Reiki certification. You send Reiki to yourself, friends, family, and pets. You may even have started your own Reiki business. But do you include Reiki in your daily life, as well?
Incorporating Reiki into your daily life is important and helpful in many ways. Not only does your energy flow strengthen, but the energy you send out throughout your living space, work space, and beyond, benefits your whole being.
But Sharon, you say, I already give myself Reiki every day. I even Reiki my pets and house plants. What more can I do? Here are some suggestions.
Reiki your food. I love sending healing Reiki energy into food I am cooking, especially if it is meat. I say a blessing over it while doing so. If I am cooking vegetables, or a vegan dish, I will give thanks for the food provided to me. If I am preparing a meat dish, I will give a blessing to the animal whose life was sacrificed for my dinner. I ask for it to have a joyful, peaceful and fulfilling life on its next journey.

You can send Reiki into your living spaces and give thanks for the roof over your head and the walls that provide shelter and protection.
When you send off a letter or card to someone in the mail, take a few moments to send Reiki into the envelope while asking for blessings to the receiver and also to the mail employees who will be handling the envelope.
Remember learning in class how to hold a photo and send Reiki to the person in the photo? You can do that with photos hanging on your wall, or framed on your shelf. It doesn’t matter if you are aware of any problems they are facing or not. We all have things going on in our life we choose not to discuss. A burst of healing Reiki energy on a whim is a wonderful thing.
Hold your jewelry in the palm of one hand and use the other to direct healing Reiki energy into the jewelry. This is a wonderful way to clear off stagnant energy from the last time you wore it, and add even more Reiki energy to your aura.

Do you have a Reiki box? This is a small box or container where you can put the names of people who have asked for Reiki to be sent, as well as pieces of paper with your current goals and projects. Every day pick up the box and hold it with both hands. Send healing Reiki light into it with any prayers you wish to use.
If you aren’t giving Reiki to your house or porch plants, now is a good time to start. Plants and animals are very receptive to energy.
If you burn candles or use diffusers or incense, you can Reiki these items as well. Imagine how the pure energy is going up and out into the atmosphere of your home as the candle burns, the diffuser releases scents, the incense sends out smoke.

Often when I am walking through the neighborhood in the early morning hours, I will send Reiki outward to the general area. While doing so, I will quietly repeat, “Peace, Peace, Peace. Love, Love, Love. Peace, Love, Light.”
Get creative with your Reiki and reap the benefits.
